INTERNATIONAL ACTIVITIES
Students are the main actors in the environment where they live. We try to get them involved in the celebration of the First European Year of Cultural Heritage by exploring the European history, the
Roman origin of many of the Europe's most important cities and common European cultural roots. The project activities provide students with both knowledge and skills, through emotional teaching and learning.
Activity 1 - Short –term exchange visit in Roma - the origin of the Roman culture

This activity provides all teachers and students with the opportunities to:
-research, experiment, discuss and develop arguments
-use real-life examples as a basis for finding out about history and culture
-study subjects and language in local, national and global contexts, and appreciate the connections between these;
-experience subjects outside the school environment, including sites, museums and artefacts where possible;
-use creativity and innovation in subjects, and appreciate their importance in enterprises;
-recognize the importance of succession in the culture and common human values and technological developments;
-explore contemporary and historical social and cultural developments and how they have been communicated.
Activity 2 - Short-term exchange visit in Spain – continuity and development of cultural heritage

This activity improves students' language skills, raise their awareness of a common cultural heritage and create a sense of European citizenship. Students benefit from the chance to communicate and interact with their peers from other European countries, and to see that they share same cultural roots and historical heritage. Visiting Hungarian hosts will help them to get acquainted with other cultures and habits, increase
new partnerships and friendships. Team work for cooperation for the final presentations and project results will strengthen their abilities to work as a partners in international groups as a citizens of one big community.
Teachers will have many positive benefits both –about their personal and professional development.
Activity 3 - Short-term exchanges of groups of pupils in Hungary-in the heart of Europe
Dunakeszi
Good practice exchange in ICT and Drama in Hungarian school. Partner countries will participate in lessons with ICT, creative methodology, project-based learning.
Visiting Hungarian hosts will help students to get acquainted with other cultures and habits, increase new partnerships and friendships. Team work for cooperation for the final presentations and project results will strengthen their abilities to work as a partners in international groups as a citizens of one big community.
Activity 4 - Short-term exchanges of groups of pupils in Bulgaria - The city of thousand ships

"4CFull - Forceful History and language"
The aim of our project is to observe, search and analyze the shared Roman roots of our history by exploring the objects of the cultural heritage from the Roman Age in each country. The project is focused on preparing pupils to become successful European citizens. It requires in-depth knowledge about Europe - its geography, history and cultural heritage and skills, attitudes, competences, knowledge), and a critical reflection of one’s values. All the activities will improve pupils' language skills, raise their awareness of a common cultural heritage and create a sense of European citizenship.
